In January 2011, Tesoro Media acquired the majority of static billboard assets of General Outdoor to form Empire Media - making us the largest independent outdoor operator in the Inland Empire.

Empire Media offers Outdoor advertising coverage in the Inland Empire with freeway and surface street bulletins, 30 sheets and 8 sheets. The majority of the bulletin plant is located on high circulation freeways including the 10, 15, 60 and 215. The freeway bulletins target the communities of Ontario, Fontana, Riverside, Victorville, Corona, Cabazon and adjacent cities. The 30 sheets are concentrated in the southeastern portion of the Coachella Valley and the 8 sheets cover greater San Bernardino and Riverside.

In addition to Inland Empire exposure,  Empire Media offers bulletin inventory in the Los Angeles, Hollywood, San Gabriel Valley, Palmdale/Lancaster and South Bay communities.

Empire Media also offers exclusive coverage at the entrance of the Ontario Airport.
